Meridian 22 Ltd was established in 1992 by Mrs. Radka Stamenova who is also its president. A graduate in Electrical Engineering, Mrs. Stamenova has been a long-term research associate at Energoproect Co. She specialized at Imperial College, London and the University of Leeds, UK. Mrs. Stamenova is a member of the board of directors of the Bulgarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, the Bulgarian-Italian Cooperation Forum, and the National Association for Independent Education. She is also a member of the Rotary Club of Sofia-International. In 2000 Mrs. Stamenova was elected “Lady Manager of the Year” by the Ministry of Economy and the Bulgarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, as well as the Nie jenite Weekly.

Meridian 22 Ltd has been offering foreign language tuition in Bulgaria and abroad to schoolchildren, as well as adults, for ten years now. Approximately twelve thousand students have enrolled in the courses in this short period. Meridian 22 Ltd also sends over 50 students to study abroad every summer. Ten to twelve students enrol annually in year-round educational courses abroad, which enables them to enter a university or receive a high school diploma upon completion.
