St. Andrew's – Cambridge
Life
and Sports
It is important for students to have a good balance in their lives
between academic work and recreation. One of the best reasons for
studying English in England is that students continue to learn outside
the classroom.
Extracurricular activities in Cambridge include sports such as
tennis, football and basketball. Other activities, such as aerobics,
dancing or horse-riding can be arranged where demand is sufficient.
Supervised visits to cities of cultural interest such as London
and Norwich are organized on a regular basis.
Students are offered the opportunity to explore areas of interest
such as history, legal issues, mathematics, politics and the arts
through guest speakers and visits.
In addition, students can make use of the Kelsey Kerridge Sports
Centre which is within easy walking distance of the College buildings.
The centre offers a wide range of indoor sports facilities including
a swimming-pool.
