The Host Families
Equal care is taken about the accommodation of those students who
prefer to stay with a host family in Cambridge. Parents and students
have the assurance that St. Andrew's is registered with the British
Government's Department for Education and has a statutory obligation
to ensure that all families' backgrounds are thoroughly checked.
Inspections of all our facilities, including host family accommodation,
have been made by Her Majesty's Inspectors and by inspectors of
The British Accreditation Council. The College's Accommodation Officer
makes regular visits to all host family accommodation to ensure
that high standards of hygiene and food are maintained and that
our students are being well cared for.
